About Josh

I’m Joshua Cohen, a licensed CPA based in Metro Detroit. I earned both my bachelor’s degree and my MBA at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with a foundation in financial and managerial accounting, corporate and personal finance, and budgeting.

At Indiana, I was a teaching assistant for managerial accounting, leading weekly classes of 50 students. That’s where I learned the part of this job I like most: explaining complicated numbers in plain English, so people actually understand where they stand.

I started JoshCoh Financial to give individuals and small business owners that same kind of attention: a CPA who answers your questions, explains your options, and treats your return like it matters.

Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors: walking, golfing, or fishing.
